Hi guys,
Here's an in between build.
It's a dragon kit that my stepson bought but didn't feel the need to build it himself.
So I ended up building it for him.
I came across an image of this vehicle on pintrest that I liked so much, that I wanted to imitate that paint and weather job.
I can't find the builder, cause he wasn't mentioned and I don't come across this image anywhere else.
Here's the image

I started the build

After the build was completed I started applying the 'damages'

The painting. First a base coat of field grey

Sealed it with a matt coat

Hairspray

final color

Did the tracks with antrasite and rust colors from AK

Made my own balken kreuzes with masking tape

Dapped the paint on

Chipping

Detail painting

Painted the interior

Did paint wear by dapping grey paint near the chipped parts and some other parts

Oil paint rendering

After I glued the upper hull to the lower hull I sanded the connecting edge and painted a line of Mister Surfacer on there

Than I pushed little ridges in the lines with a little stick, to simulate a weld

Did some more oil paint rendering, pigments and combined some arms and leggs for a figure and painted it.
And the final pics are here http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 46&t=15912
cheers
