1/48 Trumpeter F9F-2 Panther

Nice kit with one or two foibles. Decals are the most fragile I've ever come across and the wing fold mechanism needs some judicious use of a drill. Undercart a bit fiddly but overall recommended. Build here. http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 71#p197571

This aircraft flew from USS Phillipine Sea in 1950 during the Korean War.

The wings really are at that odd angle when folded.

Thanks heel, those decals were awful! I'be built Trumpeter before and the decals have always been reasonable.
