I intend to build this kit depicting Blue 36 of 831st Galaskaya Fighter Brigade .

sorry could not find much info if any for this aircraft or photos but will be painted in the scheme above.

thanks guys yep certainly gona need alot of time on this the kit is actually longer than the box it came in. In total when fully assembled it will be near as damb 80cm long. Paul if you would like me to jump a train on Sat I can bring kit over for you to review if you like just pm me and we can sort it out.

No probs only offered as im a 1hour train ride from you an would have gone on and visited my sis in Bebington hope to start this next tuesday depending how I feel may be tomorrow dont know yet

Well guys just because I can hear youall asking what do you get in that big box, and because I couldn`t tempt Paul into a review hear it is.


























Its well packaged and plenty of detail.

Its also one of the best packed model kits I have ever seen! Those missiles look huge

here is what im upto with this large bird



I painted some parts using xtracolor paints but was not happy as I have now aquired Akan paints for this kit decided to strip the parts already done.



Big surprise if you get a bottle of dettol the brown coloured one does not affect the plastic.



in a container totally submerse the parts you want to strip seal the container unless you like the smell of dettol and put to one side until ready for the parts.



when the paint looks all wrinkly they can be cleaned off but not straight to water, using an old tooth brush or soft brush depending on how fragile the piece is give the parts a scrub in the dettol to remove most of the paint if needed re submerse and leave. when paint seems to be clear use plenty of washing up liquid and scrub again still no water at this stage then when you have given the parts a scrub with washing up liquid under a running tap scrub the parts and your done just let them dry. remember not hot water or your parts will warp.



these where left in for a week because I stuck them in a cupboard and forgot about them, and as I say no damage to the plastic.
