Tamiya 1/48 Block 50 Viper

I will be the third one then, joining with this kit...

Wanted to build a Viper for a long time now, choose this kit since from what I have seen its one of the best out there.
Also from checking out lots of builds it looks fantastic OOB.
Have only ordered masks, and a PE Zoom set for the cockpit. Will have a look at the styrene exhaust and see, maybe a resin one?
After looking at Pauls Agressors also the cockpit looks fine OOB so maybe will only use the IP and belts...
This and the also en route AMK Mig-31 (Russia GB) will be my Winter/Spring builds of 2016, and really looking forward to both.

In Sweden we very nearly ended up choosing this thoroughbred fighter back in the day just as Denmark and Norway (to replace J35 Draken and J37 Viggen), but after much heated debate at the end of the day it was elected continuing to develop our own planes. Thus the JAS39 Gripen was borne instead.
Sometimes I wonder...

The video doesn't seem to work for me
but i have seen the Solo Turk once
they actually did a duo flight with the Dutch Solo Display F-16 as they where following eachother in their displays

Finally!!!
Arrived today, PE and paint due next week.
Will start to fiddle around this weekend

This kit is so well known, also in this SiG so will not bore You to death with a lot of pics and facts.
