Im going to build the Eduard Limited Edition 1/48 F-16 reviewed by Lee here

Im going to build 81-0688 which rolled out of the factory in 1982 in the standard grey scheme:

it was used to test the LANTIRN (Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night) pod (and possibly other things that I couldnt find info on). As a test plane it served the 6516 Test Squadron from October 1982 to October 1991 when it was transferred to the 416 Test Squadron. During its service as a test plane it was repainted in the red and white test scheme. On the 13th of July 1995 the plane was mothballed at the Aircraft Maintenance And Regeneration Center in Arizona.

This kit should be interesting to work on, its the first 1/48 plane I intend to finish (have tried a 1/48 fokker E.III before but that failed because I suck(ed) at making stuff fit). This will also be my first attempt to work with resin.
