Giving all ye'all a heads up right now - the more planes I attempt - the worse I seem to get.

I always think of that John Wayne saying when I am building a plane: "Mister - you ought to find yourself a new line of work, cause this one sure don't fit pistol."

So you're feeling bad or frustrated about your build, come visit me here - guarantee to cheer you up, cause your's will be so much nicer than mine.

In all seriousness though, I have never built anything this scale, I need to build more aircraft if I am ever going to be improving my skills, and I want to use this model as part of a larger diorama I plan on building this summer.

So here are the token pictures of the box and what's inside:

I may not get this started for a time, but having a post up will motivate me.

Man, you have my respect already!! I am working a 1/72 scale and am finding the size a challenge. Old eyes and small ≈ :eeek:

Have fun! I recently did a braille scale grumman X29 which proved to be quite fun.

Built an Revell(IIRC?) 1/144 F-14 last year that I found a an op shop for a couple of dollars. It turned out pretty well though I'd recommend extra care with landing gear, on that scale they snap if you breath on them the wrong way. Have fun!
