Hi all,
I could not help myself and wait for the Russian SIG so I spent the XMAS period building this kit. I feel a bit sorry for the SIG but really happy to have done it.
I highly recommend this kit, very nice, lots of PE inside, coming together quite easily, just a bit of filling and sanding here and there. Decals are really good too.
On the bad side, I managed to lose the cannon and some other important pieces... But at the end I'm really happy, Russian airplanes looks really mean and are really nice as well as the Americans, maybe even better...



It is not 100% complete yet as I've assembled it in flight mode, no landing gear, therefore I'm now looking for a stand for it.

I could not manage to remove completely the decal silver effect unfortunately...

That's a big bird in such a small scale.

Awesome bird which I bought a few days ago and am waiting to arrive. Worth the small price increase over the Zveda kit due the PE parts.

How was the fit? Any problem areas?

Very nice addition to your stash!!!
Nothing big to mention at all. I'd to spend a little bit of attention when I glued the wings and the front slats. There is a PE on the back of the left stabiliser that is tricky and in my view will disappear into the dust as you touch the model (actually I don't know if is still there...).
Decals where ready in few seconds when compared to other brands, but not a problem area, it's more to get used to it.

Hi,
I used Tamiya XF-23 as base colour, Vallejo Air 71.089 and 71.090 as light and dark blue respectively.
