I decided to build this one small aircraft. I bought it for super nice price, even did not know, that Eduard will be doing re-release. Kit is moulded in tan color, little bit like Tamiya. As this is Profipack, there are PE included and also mask for the huge canopy. I will make another Africa marking plane. There is also JG27 marking from Austria and one Yugoslavian aircraft.

I am trying also this mottling mask from PE. I am curious, if it will be handy.

Also looking forward to seeing how the mottling mask works out for you. That desert scheme is one of my very favourite Luftwaffe schemes fro WW2.

I made some progress during the weekend... Here are pics. For future I will not use the AMMO or AK primers. I will stick to smelly, but trusty Gunze.

During the painting session I give a try to Mr. Paint paints. At this point it was the RLM02 paint and it is incredible! No drying on the tip etc. Just put it in the cup and you are ready to go. Only disadvatnage is that they are on the same base as Mr.Color paints, so smell eveywhere

Hi all, new update from today. I started to equip the seats and the small things around the cocpit.

Hi, I am back with an update. The kit itself is showing is age and as I am used to accuracy of Eduards kit, this is starting to be little bit tricky. I glued the cocpit in place with some wheel wells adjusting, but this was not that bad. The fuselage will need some filling and rescribing, but still nothing serious.

The connection between the fuselage and wing will be worst part. Dryfitting shows some gaps in the front and in the backside. The wing there is sunking in the fuselage.

Update on the build. Here are the pictures when wings were attached. I should have taken more time to dry fit the parts, because the gaps were quite big.

And the last set. As the canopy should have almost seamless connection with the fuselage, so the filler and sander was in action.

Well, it`s been long time since last update, so here it is. I used the regural Mr. Surfacer on the kit, as at that time the Ultimate primer was not available yet. Underside is painted with Mr. Hobby RLM78. Top side was at first time done with RLM79 from Italeri. Same I used on the Bf 109E.

After about month I bought huge package of Hataka paints and I decided to use them. So the top is completly oversprayed. There was no problem using them. One thing with the paints are to use higher pressure (as per youtube channel around 2 bars) - it is even possible to not thin it. Paints dried almost immediately and the surface is with nice satin finish. There are now the blotches in front of me in RLM80.

Undercarriage was completed and sprayed with RLM02. For this I am using Mr.Paint. Great paints, airbrush prepared, but the bottles are 18ml, so not good for one build use and the smell is terrible (Mr. Color).

Ok, it was quite a long since last update and here it is... Completed model. I used mixture of things to finish it and small list is below:

Gunze paints
Hataka sand paint
Ultimate thinner
Ultimate wash
AK varnishes
