Hello all!
I would like to show you my struggle with 1/48 Spitfire model by Airfix.

I'm going to make this painting pattern:

I make movies mostly, all of them are available at my "Members Youtube Channels" section.
Here we'll have more space for discussion :).
First two movies are in Polish with English subtitles, next ones are in full English, sorry for the inconvenience.

Movie number 1 - Unboxin - set overview

Movie number 2 - Interiors - cockpit and landing gear recesses.

Movie number 3 - Fuselage

Movie number 4 - Painting

I know I've made too smooth transition between camouflage colours... I'm going to correct it in the next movie.

As for now the model looks like this:

What do you think?

What is that spongy looking stuff you're using?

That spongy thing? It's just a sponge ;).
I don't remember it's origin, but something I bought was probably wrapped in it.
It's not a special, sophisticated sponge just for modelling purposes ;).
