Hello from Germany ;)

Hello everybody,
My name's Yannik, I am 25 years old and from Germany. I have had some experience before, but haven't really ever finished a model, I'd say I'm quite new to "serious modelling" . So since I have been gifted a cheap airbrush (one of the Revell basic kits including a small compressor and single action gun, works well enough from what I can tell) I thought I'd actually start again. When browsing through YouTube I bumped into the ISM channel and that's basically how I got here.
As far as modelling goes I have built some civil and military aircraft in my teenage years but none that is actually worth showing
I have some leftovers of my father's modelling era (he built cars), mainly old Revell enamels (in the state of more or less unusable) and Tamiya acrylics. I'm also limited to mostly Revell materials around here, since there's not much else being offered. I know where to get some Tamiya acrylics though and that's what I'll be using for the most part.
I'm interested in aircraft of any kind, whether it be civil, military or sci-fi, modern or classic, but also in tanks and ships. Currently I'm planning on reworking a Revell Snap Tite X-Wing to a less toyish look and I have a half-done 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M5 lying around, so I guess there will be a thread with lots of more or less stupid questions coming up.
Anyway, pleased to be here and I'm really looking forward to being a part of this community!
