Hi from the UK

Hi everyone, my names Ben & I'm from the UK, I'm just about to take Military Modelling up as a hobby, I've been interested in anything to do with the armed forces for many years & I thought this would be the next step. I won't have a lot of time on my hands as I have 2 young boys that require a lot of attention but any free time I get I'm looking to put into model making.

Any tips, tricks or advice I'm able to get from the online community will be greatly appreciated.

Ben firstly welcome to the site, the guys here are great and always willing to help.

The only tip I can give you as someone who has made models since a kid is just do what you feel is fun, try to start small and try to include something new with each model.

Always buy the best you can when you can (tools, paint or any other kit). But most of all enjoy what you do, doesn't matter if the quality is there as long as you happy with it then it is all that matters.

Modeling with young children is hard, time and money is always a factor, but a great way of relaxing too. (As someone who had 6 children).
