2016 releases from Italeri

Nice to see they are doing a T41 which is the militarised C172. I was bemoaning on the 'what models would you like to see' thread the lack of a C172 so I'm a happy chappy.

Oh wow. Some really cool looking kits coming from them. I just have a small question...

How 'big' is a 1/56 scale, say compared to a 1/35 scale? Sorry, no coffee yet and my brain is on strike.

Liking the F7F-3 and the AD-4W, with the latter very tempted to do an FAA bird.

1/56 is about 2/3 the size of 1/35.

I think they use 1/56 scale miniatures/vehicles for wargaming. Sometimes it's also called 28mm. I think I have few figures around here... somewhere..

Not a big fan of Italeri, I would like to see a re- release from some company of a 1:35 Maus. Having stood next to the Only intact Maus (Kubinka Russia) there is a bit more detail than the one offered 20 years ago.

I'm not really but they do reboxes which are well worth looking out for and if you pick your kits they do massive marking options. I have a Mirage F1 in the stash with no less than ten decal options. They are no Eduard or Tamiya though. Easy builds for mojo recuperation IMO.
