Hobby Boss T26 Model 1938

Hi fellas

Its been a while since i posted anything(busy time at work) however things have eased down, so i can get some more time at the bench!
Its a bit late but as soon as i saw this group build i knew i had to join in the fun!

This is the Hobby boss t26 the kit itself is very good and lightyears ahead of the Zvezda the only problems i found was a fit issue with the turret fitting onto the hull and the poorly casted tracks. I added cast texture with the 'Tamiya cement method' as well as a set of fruil tracks, i used a 0.6mm pin vice and 0.5mm brass rod as i find the wire provided to be very flexable. The final modification was using solder to wire ip the turret lights and the front headlight. I will post some painting progress soon(hopefully)

I usually build more 'obscure' subjects such as early German and Russian armour, I must say the T26 has quickly become one of my favourite tanks

Now onto the painting, here I'm aiming to achieve a varied(messy) base-coat , a mess i know, but it will provide an interesting foundation for my whitewash.

Thank you! I am truly honoured, it certainty felt very small to start with but once I got a 'feel' for it was fine
