Tamiya 1/48 V-1 Flying Bomb

It's sort of an aircraft? It's got a pulse-jet enginge, so I'm saying it belongs here. Move me if I'm wrong.
Anyways, this is a short project I picked up. Main goal is to have a cool looking flying bomb and to practice a bit of German style painting before attempting the Me-262 I picked up.
This kit really falls together. With only about 13 pieces in all, it's a very quick build. I'd say I may have two hours into this kit and it's ready for clear coat and decals.
Paints used on the top. Each were sprayed individually to give it a mottled look.

Bomb cradle. Painted RLM Gray. Shot quickly, will probably weather a bit and be done.

I FINALLY remembered to do the pre-shading before spraying. I'm experimenting with a type of black basing I see so many people talk about here. It ended up looking really good.

Bottom side painted. Ended up looking good, at first my paint mix ratios were worrying me.

Finished painting. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looks a lot more mottled and blended than the light makes it appear to be.

Thanks for looking. I'll decal this tomorrow night or Sunday and post final build pictures some time next week. As always, questions, comments, concerns and critiques are very welcome!
Cheers!
