OK so this is my first work in progress post its a Tamiya P47 Bubbletop and as you can see the main body is all together and ready to be primed , very pleased with the cockpit as Its my first time actually trying to create a decent cockpit. build wise just have the landing gear and engine and cowling to put together but need to do some painting first.

haven't decide on a final paint scheme yet but was thinking of doing the 510th fighter squadron of the 405th fighter group because I do like there blue noses but any other suggestions are welcomed

That's a very nicely done cockpit, better than anything I could do. As of paint schemes, you could do the Mexican 201s fighter squadron (Aztec Eagles) a very interesting subject. I have not seen a lot of them done before and I am considering doing one my self. (Yea, I'm a Mexican)

Thanks for the complement, the cockpit is only airbrushed and drybrushed with a little wash. Was going to use photo etch but that always ends with a fight with the etch

So build update . ( now I got some time) finished the priming, used Ultimate primer black, gave me a excellent finish. still haven't decided on the final markings but will decide that when I start getting the base colour down, little hint there will be silver involved
