Howdy!

Well, I started on an Airfix Fw-190 that hand some pretty bad fitting issues. To day, it's the first kit I've flat out quit. I may return later; but after a rather difficult Mig-21 build (for me) I decided I wanted a kit that would more or less fall together. Hence, a Tamiya Fw-190 D-9. So far the kit had been a dream. Easily goes together, not issues as of yet.

Painted up the cockpit and got the fueslage together, I should get the body finished in the next few days and get it into the paint booth.

I'm looking forward to attempting Luftwaffe paint schemes, I even started a V-1 rocket to practice mottling on.

As always, comments, concerns and critiques are welcome!

Intresting Kit ya got. Cockpit looks good to me, there seems to be plenty of surface detail on the kit it self. Good Luck with the build

Wings on, canopy on, gun covers on. Primed and waiting for paint!

Been away a bit, met a girl, modelling sort of took a back seat. But! I found some time to work on the 190. I actually did pre-shading like you're supposed to and sprayed the camo coats. I'm about to start decaling here soon. Should be a fun build.

Well, finally got around to finishing this beast. Decal-ed it two nights ago and spent last night using pin washes and staining PROPERLY for the first time. Came out amazing! (well, for me.) Big thanks to the community here for offering help and pointers! Ended up painting the underside RLM Grey instead of Red... I didn't know the stripping was done via decal  so I just went with all white instead. Ha! I'll learn to look at the decal sheets first. The sun was so bright that it washed out all the details from the underside. It actually looks really good. Trust me 8-)
