Hello from Nottingham, UK

Morning everyone, I'm Dave, nickname Shakey, from a little town near to Mansfield/Nottingham.

I have been building model cars for over 20 years with a 15 year break! I started building Aifix spitfires and Messerschmitts when I was younger, but never seriously. About twenty years ago I went on to building Rally cars, my painting was terrible, but still had fun. As my children got older my hobby slowed to a stop, ha ha, I'm not blaming the kids but your circle of friends all seem to change habits and hobbies. About five years ago my brother and I helped our mum move house and discovered all our old citadel paints and brushes, plus Space Crusade game that we'd painted - so all of a sudden I started painting warhammer figures.

Now after a recent trip to Australia we went to hobby co in Sydney and I bought four car kits and so here I am, looking to improve my modelling.

I know both Mansfield and Nottingham quite well I spent a few years there in the late/eraly 80/90's no doubt it's changed a fair bit now though.
