This is a Kit I have been really looking forward to building since Pauls build.

The cockpit wasn't the easiest part of the build, but It looks damn good, the camera doesn't do it justice but I am really happy, the photo-etch is a god send

The fuselage together. A bit of advice, this isn't a tamiya kit, doesn't fall together but it really is a great kit. nothing you wouldn't expect from a kit. One of the best kits I have ever built.

Primed using Ultimate black primer, truly amazing stuff. levels perfect, leaves a beautiful satin black finish, There is no primer that stands up to this.

Little more supplies to help me build the viggen, not needed but who can resisit

The dreaded masking, part one, the tan colour, this was the easy bit

Didn't want to show you every step, this is the final mask for the black part

This is the mask removed, and my god, I really didnt think it would turn out as good as it did

Paint faded, this really does make the model pop, I just added a tiny bit of Tamiya XF-2 to each colour for a faded look

Gloss coated with tamiya X22 and Mr Hobby levelling thinner, very good trick, the thinner is very very smelly stuff, use in a well ventilated area
decaling done, lots of tiny stencils but not as many as there is on a phantom
