Seriously good stuff. I'm glad someone took the time to make one so I can feel like a lazy 'Murican for just paying for some cardboard scraps with a Mr. Paintstation logo on the side.

My hat is off to you, sir!

Excellent. Gonna make me one of those. Not quite the CO2 scrubber on Apollo 13 but it'll do for me!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

To honour Pete's great thread and give hopes for his continued good health, I decided to make a paint stand
Also b/c that Lysus guy was flaunting his stand that he BOUGHT!!!! If you can believe that
Anyways, supplies: cardboard, glue, clamps, base oh and hockey tape
Image

Two inch strips eBay cardboard gluing up, sitting on their maple flooring base
ImageP

I need to fire up the table saw for trimming and it is a bit too late and I have had a wee bit to drink which does NOT go well with power tools
So more tomorrow :cheers2:

Table saw was singing. Can't wait to have an organized wood shop up and running again
Image

Used the same silicone I use for water in my dios to cement the wood and cardboard together b/C it was sitting at my feet under my desk saying "pick me!" Worked well and sets fast and clear

So made a vertical one mid sized and then two short stacks....those were the off cuts and I will drill a hole in and use them for figures and such. Didn't bring enough cardboard home for a big flat one, next time

And as for opulent, I think they are more like Posh...as in

Sorry for the foul language, just a jest
