New hobby releases

Post by Gav0909 »

I notice a few threads of new model/hobby item releases and I thought it might be easier to have this as a single thread.

So if you have come across a new model release you wish to share, or anything hobby related that is a new release, stick it up here! I am terrible for knowing whats in the pipeline from a manufacturer, so it would help me.

I got this in the Airfix email today, which I am sure others on here did too. But it seems Humbrol have released a dedicated range of RLM acrylics, in bigger 14ml pots. I know there are loads of other RLM versions out there, but it might be interesting if anyone gets these to see how they stack up against the others.

Humbrol RLM
Does RLM stand for Reichsluftfahrt Ministerium (State Ministry for Aviation)

Do you think a category for kits (even planes, amour, figures, sci-fi) and one say for model bulding tools, paint, materials etc might be something to consider?

Aye alright Coen you smarty pants! :nena:

Nice lot of info there though, cheers.

Jan, as Paul said I think that just makes it complicated. And yes, that's what RLM stands for, it was the standard colour set used by the Luftwaffe in WW2 when painting their planes.

Quite understandable when Coen can refer to: "My Hobby Info" website.

Does it help if I refer you my post (#2 on this page)

Pauls addressed that and further down gav0909 gave his response. I agreed with them, since your referrence to 'My hobby info' was a central source of information regarding this topic: New Hobby releases.

For those of us in 'Australasia' I have a blog of sites that I have done at least one order from with no problems.
There are sites from the UK and Asia but the majority are in NZ

Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

Wow Webby... that was handy.
I've ordered from a a few of them but there were a couple of new ones in there I may check out.
I've ordered a few things from NZ without any trouble, so these could be interesting.
Thanks Dude!
