Not a bad kit apart from the undercarriage. It normally takes around 15-20 minutes to get it in place and aligned, this kit took three hours. Very finicky. Other than that, recommended.

This aircraft was flown by Pavel P. Karavay, 897th IAP, 288th IAD, Winter 42/43. Karavay had 16 individual and seven shared kills and was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union on August 8th, 1945.

Thanks Troy. I haven't done one like that before, it wasn't that hard to be honest, just layered some thin white coats onto black primer until it looked about right. Can't understand though why there's a black line on the wing roots, they are filled and sanded, I just couldn't get the white to take on the black primer at those points.

That wire something you did yourself? I know there's a couple ways to do it, curious what yours was.

Thanks Lysus. You mean the aerial wire? It's just ezy line superglued at each end. Cut it a little bit shorter than you need to give it a bit of tension.
