UPDATE

OK we left off here, ready for paint.
Image

Badger White Primer done and masking off ready for the Badger Black.
Image

used the curvey tamiya tape on the curvey bits, nice stuff but remember to detack it first folks.
Image

Although there is a decal for the tail fin i just traced them with my scalpel to make custom masks. Same with the wing flaps.

Image

Black done, masking for the Badger Grey and Vallejo metallic exhaust

Grey laid down ready for unwrapping

used my circle template for the nose. you can see the exhausts better here

The big unwrap, slowly does it, 3 layers of tape in some places.

It could be the original BLOB that starred Steve McQueen as that came from outer space, or if it came from the inside of the egg, you could say the "yolk" was on him. Either way, it is a great looking build.

FINAL UPDATE[/]

internet was down for a week, ive received therapy and am now less jittery :shifty: :shifty:

decals were a bit dodgy. i initially wanted Discovery but it just fell to pieces while trying to lay it down. no tortured pun for me....."ive made an eggciting discovery!!". So Atlantis behaved itself and didnt fight me.
last was mr hobby stainless steel to the spacewalkers visor, an ultimate dark dirt wash, and of course the union jack on the wee guys backpack in honour of Tim Peake being up in the ISS at the moment.

these are the shots taken on my phone. I posted some on the fb page a week or so ago.

i left the Shuttle clean and slightly shiney because its an egg afterall. fun little build, no fuss.
