Hi from Belgium

Post by Takeitez »

I'm new on this forum. I live In West Flanders Belgium. Great tutorial section. Starting to build again after 10year recess.
Need to master the airbrush techniques for acrylics because enamals are getting harder to finds around here. Loved to work with modelmasters enamels that time. Now trying the vallejo model color. Just started the airfix typhoon 1/24 scale. Great kit.
In progres : 1/24 Airfix Thyphoon.

:welcome: right back at you From Geleen The Netherlands.

Use to love that show on the BRT called windkracht 10 all about the Seaking Crews from Koksijde Rescue. The dutch navy has replaced their Lynx helicopter with the NH-90 and it seams to be having all sorts of teething problems..
Damm the glue is getting to me :crazy:

@vleugelmoer.
The Dutch NH-90 seems to have corrosion problems, maybe a great theme for a heavly weathered NH-90?
Belgian airforce declares that their helo are a newer version and that the corrosion troubles are solved. Yet i like the look of the new helo. To bad the come in gray or green instead of the cammo scheme with the orage nose.

A good friend of mine is one of the maintenance crew chiefs, I'll ask him about the corrosion issues, the Belgium ones are the latest version airframe but I don't think they have all the toys.
