A quick entry into the Egg build.

And as per the norm. Box and spru shots :th:

And so it begins
As with most of the Hasegawa Egg planes its not eggsaktly  a complicated or hard build so it went together quickly.

Then it was on to paint, this would be my first go with the Vallejo "Metal Color" paint. So iI started with there black base coat,
and must admit was not impressed with it, it seems no different than there normal primer so I ditched that and used Tamiya X1 as a base coat.

then it was on to to the topcoat I chose 77.701 Aluminium and put this down, it went down well but I had a small problem with it spitting.
Next time i use it I will put a drop of thinners in. But i am happy with the results :th:

Then after it had dried over night, it was onto the decals. A bit thick but ok,,,, its an eggplane after all ;)

And its all done, the only thing i did extra on this build was adding a piece of styrene 9.5mm tube to fill the hole in the rear of the
aircraft as an engine

And that is my 2016 Egg plane build, enjoyed this and hope you like. Thanks all :cheers2: :cheers2:
