New guy from Indianapolis

Post by Tango »

My name is Dave and live in Indianapolis IN.

Into military aircraft and armor.

Currently working on a Bradley, Abrams, and a Challenger. All Tamiya.

Just started a Tamiya 1/48 F-16. Have a chunk of the resin kits out there for it. Building it for my dad as a retirement present, he is going to be retiring with like 38 years of service soon and I want to build a clone of his F-16 (is a crew chief).

I am trying to find a company to make the custom tail markings but that is proving to be more difficult then I thought.

Also going to get remove before flight fabric and have the ground support equipment model.

Next I would like to build an FW-190

Probably going to pick people's brains on here a lot but will share a lot of pics..... But seems a single picture from my phone is to large so I will have to figure that out.

For custom decals you could try www.cal-gafx.com

For more generic lettering and numbers microscale do wet decals and archer fine decals do dry transfers

First problem solved in the first post how's that for a :welcome: gift??

Happy modeling and keep sticking styrene

:welcome: Hi Dave from another Dave. Most folk use Photobucket for hosting pics. There's a tutorial of how to use it here http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 67&t=12123
Regards, Dave.
