1:24 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4

Bought this after Christmas when Airfix had there sale got it for £19.99.
I wanted to do the 1/48 scale version as it is meant to be a really good kit. Not quite sure how good this kit is but hopefully ok.
I've opened the kit seems quite an easy kit to put together instructions seems simple.
You get the set of paints and brushes but won't be using them. Funny thing is they give you the paints but it's those small pots you get with the smaller kits wouldn't last 5 mind painting this beast.
Looking at the kit it will require a lot of cleaning up plenty of flash. But I didn't buy the kit thinking it would be perfect as it is Airfix.
I like this aircraft I like the paint scheme on it.
The wingspan on this kit is 410mm
Fuselage length 360mm
One decal scheme included
I am just starting the build tonight so will update every stage I'm at.

My Mum and Dad bought this kit for me when I was a kid. I can remember Dad calling me out to the car and opening the boot and there it was.

Loved every minute of working on that thing. I hope you enjoy the build as much as I did.
