There's also an excellent model shop in Halifax called "Halifax Modellers World", run by a chap called Dave Smith. Crammed with all sorts of models, planes, armour, sci fi, figures, cars, bikes etc.

It's all too common Models R Go has also gone
On a good note I did visit the Salisbury Model Centre in Salisbury last week, nice shop well stocked, kits are a little pricey and most other things are a bit dearer than on line. But you can't get paint on a Sunday off an online trader, you can form Salisbury Model Centre
even if they're are a bit more, if you take into consideration the postage things get a little more level playing field.
Personally I'd rather pay a little bit more for a walk in, walk out service and on a Sunday
we've got to support these shops or they'll all be gone
