Just adding my thought into here. I have been using the the Ultimate buffers along side a squadron buffer. If anyone was on the fence about Ultimate it's no contest at all the Ultimate is a vastly superior product. I have a whole set of squadron sanders that may need to be replaced prematurely if the Ultimate sanders are as much better then the squadrons as the buffers are.

One question or suggestion or support for if someone has already mentioned it whichever is appropriate. Any thought of making a thin buffer?

Personally I never liked the squadron sanders and buffers, I am however about to order some from flex-i-file and Ultimate and will be putting them in a head to head test as soon as I get them both in.

Am tooling up the new man cave and heard raving reviews on both so thought I'd get both and put them true there paces..

i was going to try and say there was a couple of must have Ultimate sanders but I just looked threw them and I use everyone single one of them. From the thinny sticks to the sponge sanders they are all so god damn use full

I used some Squadron sanders before I nabbed the Ultimate packs, and I have to say the Ultimate sanders are just better for me so far. I mean, in some cases the difference isn't much, but in others, like the buffer, I feel like it's a noticeable difference (it could be the construction, or maybe just the shape, who knows). And of course thinny sticks are fantastic. Interested to hear your take on it.

I haven't yet tried a flex-i-file, though I see them at the LHS. They seem more useful in a circumstantial sort of way, like airplane fuselages or really curvy bits that have seams. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lysus, as this month's modeling budget got blown over the weekend when I to had a twitchy buy it now finger when I saw the 1:32 Academy F-16 Sufa Paul had up for sale. The purchase of the Ultimate and Flex-I-File items for the test have been put on hold for now.
I also want to include the new micromesh tapes that Flex-I-File has in its range. I'll give you a heads up when I publish my findings. Stay tuned
