Four easy to follow steps for decals: 1 gloss clear coat, decal application (micro set), decals solutions micro sol or solvaset, gloss clear coat.

For weathering it al subject matter specific which effects you want to replicate. Two basic washes are a sludge wash; cover / apply and remove wash from intire model. Pin wash only flood certain parts like wheel rim grooves with a wash and don't remove.

I would suggest checking YouTube there are loads of cool weathering techniques and products to use to create stunning and very realistic weathering effects.

Paul's Me 109 vids are the best. They got me started a year ago. Haven't looked back since.

Both of the Paul's give great advice. They have both helped me out greatly. Paul Bretland's how to videos are the best. Gives you a great idea of how to do things.

With out them I would have been lost when I started back almost a year ago.

Another vote for Paul's vids. I bought the same model and just followed it all step by step. Was amazed at what I finished up with.
