Colour Scheme for full interior 1/16 T34

Post by sandy29 »

I am new to this forum and not familiar with the procedures. As mentioned earlier I am building a T34 and I require a colour scheme for the interior. I did see few in one of the forums but cannot recollect where I saw them. Can any of the members let me know where I can down load a few photographs. And thank you to those advised me about the pins. I do not know if I am at liberty to use the member's user name without his permission. Sandy29

Loads to be found using Google mate.

Just type in "t34 walkround" and then hit the images tab.

Also a nice video here -
I just added another one to the, "What the HELL was I thinking list..."

The problem with a T-34 and that goes for both the 76 and 85 versions is that they where build by many different factories
And they all just followed the guidelines fron the design but there where differences between each factory
Some had a light grey interior and others a white
The advantage you have as a modeller is that you can basicly pick the color you like
You can always look for reference ofcourse wich is something to recommend
On you tube there is a series from World of tanks called the Chieftains hatch and they have 2 parts for the T-34 (1 for the exterior and 1 for the interior)
But you mentionned a build you have seen
That may have been the one i did for the From Russia with love GB we had on here
You can find it here

I hope it helps
Cheers

That's the vid I linked to :th: some great interior shots and gives some good ideas for detailing - if you're into that kind of thing.

Plus I love Nicholas Morans presentations tyle - I could watch his videos all day but work keeps getting in the way. Speaking of which...

I didn't check the link actually
But it is funny to see him climbing in some of the tanks
And the bloopers at end are nice too
But museum pieces do have one major disadvatage
They are often incomplete or have parts from other tanks wich can be fron a different production run
This isn't such a big problem for Soviet and Allied armor as there where a lot of them but German vehicles have it a bit more
There are barely any parts for them left
Just after the war a lot was simply melted and re used

World of tanks has done a series of walk round vids on you tube, sure i saw a t34. Think its called inside the hatch.
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.
My motto? I'm not lazy, just energy efficient.

Very true the Class agricultural company made PTO harvesters out of old tanks and what crappy steel it was too. Very difficult to weld.
Listen and appear wise
