Metal paints question

Just putting it out to the vast experience here.

How do you usually handle painting metal colors on details such as pipes and such, things that are not really possible to mask and spray. Is there a metal paint that is suitable for brush work, or is it a case of just using the correct color in the non metallic verity. I know that's a little sparse on the details so example. Lets say painting an aluminum pipe that runs through a model interior, you can't really brush paint the Alcalds. Is there another brand of metalizer that you can with some success or do you just stick with the aluminum tamiya color or the likes : ?

and now a dancing banana because you can never have too many of those.

I use the mr metal color paints for brush work
They aren't as nice as a sprayed metal paint but they still are far superior to the regular modelcolor and Tamiya acrylic metal paints
The only problem is that they are ratger thin so i tend to use the paint that sticks to the cap after shaking
But they dry very fast (only minutes) and you can buff them a bit to make them look better
But you do need a bottle of mr color thinner to clean your brush
And as they even dry fast in the bottle (when you have it open to use it) it is nice to have that thinner around and thin it a bit when it gets too thick

Vallejo's new metal colour range is great to brush paint with. Good coverage and it comes in a dropper top bottle. A couple of drops onto a palette and it lasts really well.

Its acrylic too so you can wash your brush in water.

I'm with Stokesy, their new Metal stuff is very good for both spraying and brushing. Mind you their Model Air aluminium is good as well.
