Swedish PostNord is *"#¤"#*¤! Usually any parcels come through within a day. This time, I ordered some stuff directly from MIG, thinking delivery would be as pain-free as usual, arriving within a few days or so, having placed a lot of orders from other EU countries without any hassle.

So I thought and waited. And waited. And waited. The consignment tracking showed the package had arrived to Stockholm inbound sorting station, passing customs without any issue. And there it got stuck. So I called them, and they said they had had delays in the sorting station, "so please call again next week if you haven't received it".

Today, I called them again, and they confessed, they had lost the package.

No blame to be pointed to MIG; they did everything right. It's just Swedish PostNord that had f**ked up this time. Big time.

Yeah, they lost it two weeks ago, they just didn't want to admit it.

Can can stuff get lost it is in there system and properly addressed. I get it here as well. I think there is a certain amount of light finger work happening, probably in my case the docks.

I here occasionally a postie has a house full of letters and parcels......just plain silly and stupid on his part.

Speaking of stupitidy; A couple of years ago, a project manager at the R&D department of Sony(-Ericsson), stole and subsequently sold thousand prototype phones from the R&D headquarter in Lund, Sweden. However, prototypes regularly connects to some R&D servers in Lund, so when the servers started getting connections from Turkey, Iran, Iraq etc, it was quite obvious what had happened and who did it.

Do I need to mention the ex-Project Manager will never get a job in R&D. Ever. Again.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I put in an order from that geezer from down the road Blick for some brushes in early May and they haven't arrived. Even with a tracking # saying "delivered", I've never seen the package. They were gracious enough to resend but I haven't seen the replacement yet either. I've ordered from them in the past, so I know they're legit. If I still have trouble I may just have them ship it to my sis-in-law an hour away in another state.

Our phone company Telstra has little retail phone shops all over. Any way a manager got caught selling phones on ebay for about a year before she got caught....$100,000 stolen.

Digger, I used to work for Telstra (provision of new orders) after being a tech for BT in England for 15 years before emigrating. I used a way of pushing through troubled orders which would have gone into held for 5 days before anything was done, and I got in trouble for it as this was not "the process".

yes but you weren't selling them via ebay....all you were doing was your job, but more efficiently.

Yeah, people don't like it when the new guy shows them up, the opposite happens when ex council workers find themselves in the private sector!
