Hi Peeps
So i have been constantly bugged by something that I did 12 months ago !! and I figured the best way to finally live with it was to air it out to you guys...
Here goes....
I SOLD MY TAMIYA 16th TIGER KIT....... I SOLD MY TAMIYA 1/48 LANCASTER KIT....!(and a few others that I liked to look at !)
Now after it was too late and posted I realised that although I was probably never going to build these kits I did get a great deal of pleasure from just opening the boxes and thinking about the build and painting of them....
Nope........putting it out there has not helped one bit !!
Anyone else done something similar??
Cheers
Mark

I have zero sympathy for you. The selling of items from one's stash is against the law. We know where you live, the stash police have been dispatched

I sympathise Burnie! I was made to sell my starwars toys back in the 80's before I was ready to let go. I ended up with a worn out Obi wan kenobi, and a tie fighter pilot figure to play with! I Had to make spaceships out of old margarine tubs whilst Lamenting the loss of my millennium falcon
Now I have the pain seeing them increase in value as collectors items
Go get yourself another nice kit to look at mate, the tamiya mossie in 1/32 is lovely just to drool over

I sympathise - having sold my whole staff off stupidly cheap some 10+ yrs ago, though if I was to have the Tamiya Lancaster in my stash, one would have to prise it from my cold dead hands. In fact I would chose to be cremated with it

My Mum made me give all my Star Wars toys to the kid next door when we moved away. I was 11 nearly 12 (1990) at the time and had a mint Millennium Falcon, B-Wing, Y-Wing, X-Wing and more figures than you can shake a shitty stick at. My Dad never lets Mum live it down
