Italeri 1/72 BAe Hawk Series MK.100

Post by Maketci »

Hi everyone ;
A classic Italeri kit with canopy and intake problems.
( a few old photos from other forum )

And tonight. Before canopy masking and surface control with enamel paint...

eh, not bad :whistle:

I know, it seems like the Mig-28 :tongue:
( Kit is bad, and presumably will end badly )

Regards,
Maketci.

Nice rescue of all those gaps. Has turned out good so far, what markings is this going to have?

I built an Italeri Hawk not long ago, fit was generally ok. I did mine in Finnish markings, looked cool.

Hi Gav0909;
Thanks for your comments. Sorry I use Demo markings, not use Finnish markings.

Nice recovery job Maketci.
I don't know anything about aircraft, but I do know that some of the kits can be a big pain with fit issues and gaps.
Looks like that's not a problem for you Dude.
Looks great.

That is comming along great, the camo you have picked is certianly different that one is used to seeing on a Hawk.

Thanks friends.
This kit is not the way I want, e.g. canopy vapor was due to the C.A. and I could not find the corresponding to wood colour (at Gunze acrylic) in my L.H.S. etc... (Green colors right)

But it was a nice exercise for freehand. In the event, we continue to learn every day... :)
