MicroSet/sol

Post by Augustus »

What's the difference, when do use each as in what conditions call for using each one.

Do you really need both of them?

Are there better alternatives?

Cheers

Just be careful with those bottles because they're super-easy to knock over. I think more of my solution has ended up on the desk than the decals :(

Yeah, eager to try mine. Just need to get the liquid in there...and, you know, work on a kit.

Ive been looking at these but the only ones I can find locally have very fine 'nibs', are the ones you use like this, yours seem to be fairly broad.

I got the Microset/sol in the post yesterday with some other supplies.

Hi,

I think this is the product Paul is using. It has a 'chisel' tip as opposed to a pointed one.

I got a couple of the Derwent ones in Hobbycraft, if you have one near you, cast about £3.50 if I remember correctly.
