I don't have a whole lot of experience at this yet and am running into this bubbling issue. I don't get it as bad on Tamiya paints as I do Stynlrez primer. It bubbles out of the vent hole, while spraying and looks foamy when I open it. I spray paint at 15-20psi and the Stynlrez at 20-30 per some directions I found. Is this bubbling normal or am I doing something wrong? I thin the paint, but not the primer.
Edit: Almost forgot, it's a Paashe Talon airbrush with a .38 needle.

When I get the bubbles it normally means the nozzle it's on quite tight enough, careful tightening any threaded nozzle, try 1/8 of a turn more, at most.

Do you get them in the paint cup or around the nozzle?

Loose nozzle usually means bubbles in the paint cup. Are you talking about the join between the nozzle and the brush itself, or out the little air hole in the top of the color cup? Foamy paint in the cup means probably a lot of air coming up through. So, still a loose nozzle.

In the color cup, I'll give tightening it a try.

I'm getting the same issue. I'm using an Iwata Neo CN. Took it apart and found this. Do I need a new nozzle? I tried the above mentioned methods and it didn't work I dropped the airbrush several months ago and replaced the spray cap guard, but it never bubbled until now. Which sucks, I was about to dullcote a model and be finished with it. Note, when it didn't spray today I disassembled and found a small metal sliver, probably the nic out of the nozzle. I think I need to replace it, but I wanted a second opinion before ordering. This part is a quarter the cost of a the brush. Or should I bite the bullet and upgrade brushes to avoid newbie airbrush issues of the future?

I had exactly the same issue and received some great replies, particularly from Paul Budzick who linked one of his great videos on airbrush care and maintenance, but the general consensus was that I was inserting the needle to hard after cleaning and damaged the nozzle.
