Global Scale Modeller

I will be using this kit.

To replicate one of these.

What intend to build is a Crime Lab van used by my old police department. These were loaded to be mission specific and responded to only the major cases. Most often they were empty until needed.

Here's the mo

dern equivalent.

Scratchbuilt some shocks.

a ladder rack.

and modified the seats to better replicate the normal ones found in a commercial vehicle.

Built a new steering column with gear shift and turn indicator.

More to come.

G

This is different, .....

Continuing, I scratchbuilt a ladder.

I applied some metal foil to the scripts before paint.

Painted the interior. The pattern replicates what the seats from that time period looked like.

Scratchbuilt a storage cabinet.

More to come!

Cool project
I remember having that kit as a kid

Great progress, love the scratch-built sideboard

Great work, love the scratch building.

Progress.

I had the vintage door shield decal custom made about 9 years ago. The remainder of the markings I printed myself.

G

That is some great work

Almost there.

G

Looks very convincing. Great job!

Thank you sir!

Moving on, the kit mirrors suck.

So I made some.

Some Tamiya "Silver leaf" and chrome foil gave me this.

G

Some great scratch work makes all the difference

All finished.

G

Dirty Harry would be proud.
