Messerschmitt ME 262 A2-a Hobby Boss 1/48

Post by demarcation »

Started this one loooong time ago but other builds got in the way and I somehow lost the interest, but now I thought it was about time to finish it.

My first encounter with Hobby Boss so I didn't really know what to expect and allthough it wasn't "shake and bake" Tamiya style I think it worked out quite well. The decals were very soft and difficult to get in place, I made a mess of the walk markings on the wings and was forced to use some spare ones from another kit.

OOB apart from a resin seat from Ultracast with molded on harness instead of PE, I liked that very much!

That is really, really nice. Did you pin wash it or use a general slap it on all over wash?
Regards, Dave.

Thank you very much. It was coated with aqua gloss followed by an all over wash using the dark wash from MIG.
