Hai guys!
This is my tiger model I've build for my DAK diorama with a Sd.kfz 222 that is also on this forum.
"The tiger should have his own thread because she deserves it" was one of the comments, so here it is!

A huge box and a lot of P/E from Aber and of course White metal tracks from Friull. The alu barrel is from Aber too.
Image

Exhausts were a pain in the :boom: Really difficult to put them together...
Image

Image

I like doing realy small detailing, like this spring from the commanders hatch...

AWESOME BARREL
Image

First time doing metal tracks, lot of work and the are heavy, but I thing they are great!
Image

Clamps and clasps... tiny... really tiny... almost makes me crossed eyed
Image

Scatch build some electrical wires for the head lights
Image

Tank crew with Erwin Rommel
Image

Rommels goggles are scratch build too, the were not in the kit..
Image

Image

Replaced the exhaust covers for these P/E ones. The covers that came with the kit were round. And this tiger served in Tunisia, these tanks had square one's
Image

Photo etching and superdetailing finished!
Image

She is big!
Image

Pre shade and first base coat
Image

Added decals and towing cables. The palmtree is airbrushed on
Image

Final coat and weathering

Finished and ready to put in the DAK diorama

Hope you guys enjoyed this ride!

It's great to see these close up pics, really shows off the detail and the hard work you've put into this dio.
