tamiya discontinued kits?

I just finished my first kit and started on my 2nd. I really enjoy and cannot be idle without a kit 
but anyway the second kit I bought was mint from the 80's from some garage sale I found here but I just noticed that the mold isn't really good and sometimes the plastic don't fit well (probably that it was kept a long time ago) but I'm not disappointed thought. For me tamiya kits are great and I personally prefer their kits, they have that kits I like to build.
Since I'm inexperienced got a lot of catching up to do w/ the database from what I read some of tamiya's kits got discontinued? I'm trying to find it online and but there's not an exact list of those discontinued kits. Anyone have a list or something?
