Models will be sold

I'm not exactly sure how to do this. I need to sell the models that I have not built. I've tried ebay with a couple of them and fell on my face. The reason I am selling them is because I've taken on my brothers expenses since he had his stroke. No i'm not trying to draw pitty or anything. I just need the money to help pay the bills that insurance wont pick up. You'd think as much as you pay them over the years they would take care of more than just the minor stuff. This sucks. No two ways around it.

So... I've got tanks, figures, guns for said figures, anti-aircraft guns, and a bunch of other stuff.

Does anyone know of a way to sell this stuff? I'm not asking much for it. I priced them for 10 bucks each for the figures. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I looked at shipping outside the US but its expensive so that was a no go. :wall:

You could list them on Criaglist or Kijiji. That get's you local buyers and you can meet for a face to face.
You could list them here. Price plus shipping. Everyone here's an adult and has an idea of what shipping costs so there shouldn't be much crying.
Or see if a local hobby shop will buy it all as a lot. Some of the shops around here do that.

I'll try CL. I usually don't like dealing there because of all the hagglers and scammers.

I would use my local meet to sell them but its hosted at a hobby store and its not allowed. I mean I could ask them to contact me outside the meet but all soliciting is banned. They seem to have had an issue before. I'm ok with that. I don't want to cause a headache for them since they are nice enough to host our meets. Although I did not think to ask if the store wanted to buy them. That is something I will ask them.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try them. Its worth a shot!

join modeling forums and write an actual list with kit numbers and pricing and see what happens. Be prompt in answering PM's.
Also there are individuals who bulk buy at less than half price and then resell. It takes them some time to do that so be understanding.
Also join face book and list there. It can be very good and not cost any fee's.
Speaking personally I would like to see your profile updated to include what state you live in and out of curiosity what you have for sale this site has a for sale thread with USA and Canadian members.
Sometimes the combined freight for several items is not too bad.
Hope you see some cheer soon.
Ian

I wasn't aware that we could sale on here. I've started posting locally on craigslist but I will post cheaper prices here because I know the ones that look at them will either need it or want it. I mean they will actually build them. The stuff I have is not special or have a "wow" factor to them to most people. They did to me. That is why this sucks so bad.

It would help potential buyers to know where in the world you are?
