Apart from myself I think there are about 10 or twelve Dutchies here. We also have several Members from Flanders in Belgium.

So ya we are sort of a minority group here , But what is to be expected from a smallish country like ours that only has 16 Million people living there ;)

Welcome to ISM Toon
We have a little group of Dutch modellers here
As far as i can tell we have
Vleugelmoer
Schoof
FlyingDutchman
Hansolo
Jan01
And well ...me
There are some others but those are less active and to be honest i can't remeber all of them
But i think you came to the right place
There are a lot of great modellers here in all sorts of genres and intrests
And if you have any questions they are most likely already on here or you can ask
There is always someone that can help out
And unlike many dutch sites you don't have to expect unwanted critisism here
You can get constructive critisism but you need to ask for it

And maybe you like to meet up with several of us at a show some time
We meet up at the SMC since a couple of years and at some other shows and events

So have fun over here and maybe i will see you around

Oh by the way
Wich part of our little slab of land are you from

That was one of my main reasons for leaving those forums for what they are and joining up on this one ;)

If you do get unwanted rude replies to your posts, the founders and moderator team is there to help. And they are quick to respond unlike other sites.

Paul

Good to know about the SMC meet-up because the last one in Overloon during milltracks sort of got miss communicated I think.

I for one would love to meet up IRL with my fellow modelers.

Paul

Haven't really signed in on any dutch sites... Found this one by googling pictures of a vehicle i was making and was blown away by the amount of content and really cool stuff! I'm working on repainting a tiger that someone gave me (prebuilt) and still looking for ways to improve it :) (Maybe you can give me tips and tricks with weathering?)
I'm from Utrecht btw

So we still are scattered around a bit (as the dutch guys that is)
For the Tiger i would go to the gb and sig archive
There is a Tiger 1 sig in that list
But it it a bit hard to say what you can do to a pre build model
It all depends on what has been done already
You could start a thread in the works in progres section and show where the build is at

If you want to know how all of that works Paul made this videos about that

It takes a little getting used to but it is fairly easy
If it is just painted then you can still do a lot to it
Like washes ,chipping ,fading of colors ,streaking effects ,metal effects and mud and dust
I made 5 Tigers last year if you want i can pm you the links to the threads and maybe you can find something usefull there
