Vallejo model colours for WW2 British Paras

Post by chalkyw »

Hi,

I've been trying to find a reference for what Vallejo Model Colours can be used for painting 1/35 WW2 Bristish Paratroopers and have not had much luck. Does anyone have a link to share or what know colours would be suitable, especially for the Dension Smock camo.....I have a rough idea but anything more specific would be most helpful.

Any help is much appreciated in advance.
Cheers :cheers2:

Thanks Pete :th: , a superb response to my dilema. I took a trip to the model shop yesterday to get the paint I needed but they didn't have all the colours I wanted so I had to wing it on a couple but here's the fruits of an afternoon of figure painting based on some of your list and a sneak preview of a small bit of a dio I'm working on.

Many thanks again

Sorry, I started on this dio way before I joined the forum so i didn't document the build. There's some more pics of the whole thing here if you're interested http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 29&t=18193 mostly DAS, garden dirt and twigs, sea foam trees, static grass and a few scratch built bits like the gate but when i finish and post some pics i'll describe what i did in more detail .....I lost my way a bit with it and needed a bit of help so had a rethink and came up with a new direction with the paras.....BTW there won't be a Sherman in it anymore
