Global Scale Modeller

So I have gotten into the hobby within the last 2 years and first want to say thanks for the valuable information I have gained from the ISM community. I have a somewhat unique situation for being a modeler I believe in that I work out of state and spend roughly 6 weeks out and a week at home. So my bench is always varied with what a motel room has to offer I have a plastic box I put my kits in and I am still trying to find a proper suitable storage box for building supplies. I first attempted to paint while also traveling but found that while possible with e240 spray booth it just took up to much space in the back of my truck so I build on the road and paint at home which has led to a bit of a backlog. Now I am wondering if anyone has either been a similar situation or just a passing experience with modeling while doing a little traveling and could share some tips. Thanks in advance.

I haven't any such experience, but if I did I'd love a couple of these in my luggage.

I almost bought the afv bag before the choice to leave paint and airbrush at home. Just don't get enough time to paint on the road it proves a challenge to find time to even build sometimes

I have also modeled on the go so to speak, I tended to stay on small scale subjects and used the old school hairy sticks over the airbrush. For paint, tools and glue containers I used and still use quarter gallon ice cream containers, they are cheap and cheerful and can be stacked and packed away easily enough. To carry my subjects I use empty margarine tubs and some packing foam to stop them from rattling around.
