1/24 uk number plates

Post by m4rky »

Anyone know where I can get 1/24 UK number plates from?
Trying to replicate my dads real car so want to put on his plate onto the model.

I would try HeroBoy they are specialized in car models and are based in the UK. They also have a webshop ;)

Hope this helps you along they way to building your dad's old car.

Hero Boy does these decals

So depending on the age of the car you are trying to replicate these might be your best option.

Otherwise paint the background dark blue and get some white wet or dry transfers / decals

Hope this helps you along with your build, best of luck on the old mans car.

As always happy modeling and keep sticking styrene.

You could make them on the computer using paint and print them out. Print a few different sizes to make sure they fit right.

Vleugelmoer: Thanks for the reply. I did see those decals on Hiroboy but they are out of stock.

Thomas2542: Thanks, I am currently looking into having some made :)

There's a guy on eBay doing them. I know it's for a 1/12 scale, but I've contacted him, he said he can do whatever you need.
