Looking for a good quality easy fitting kit to put some time in on. Done a few bad/crap kits but wanna try and put into practice some of the stuff I have learnt off this forum and ISM YouTube.

The Hobby boss 1/48 me262 kits are pretty nice and not too hard to build
Or the Eduard MiG-21 but if you consider your self to be a new builder or beginner i would suggest a weekend edition of that kit
Those don't have resin or photo etch to make it harder to build

If you want a tank however i would say the trumpeter KV-2 or KV-1 kits
Those have optional tracks (individual links or vinyl lenghts of track)

If you're doing tanks in 1/35 scale I would recommend any of Tamiya's less expensive kits. They are old, so they're cheap. And they fit together nicely.

If you're unsure about the kit, Google the kit brand name and model number. Usually you can find a written review on them.

Search on https://www.scalemates.com/

If it's armour I would suggest watching QDC and/or Andy's Hobby Headquarters put Tamiya kits together, if you see them do a model you like, and the steps they go through seem within your skillset, your good to go.

I'm not sure of anyone comparable with ship and airplane kits, but others will chime in....

Tamiya kit for it's ease of construction....literally shake the the box and out pops a little beauty.

I know Paul is about to start a new step by step video series on the Me-109 from Eduard. This series will use both kit parts and aftermarket like photo-etch and resin. There is or is going to be a dedicated build thread on the forum and videos on the ISM YouTube channel. The best kit to get for this is the Profi Pack by Eduard in either 48th or 32nd scale depending on how much room you have on the desk and shelf.

Having just done a Tamiya I can confirm this. I almost didn't need to be in the room to build it.

Tamiya kits are good starting point. I would even say few Monogram/Revell kits are pretty goos. A buddy just build a 1/24 Kenworth or Peterbilt truck that he paid $20ish for it and it came out great with little effort.
