Gathering Resources for my next build!

For my next build I want to build a T-34/76 that Mariya Oktyabrskaya commanded by the name of Fighting Girlfriend! I am just wondering if anyone has any info or pictures on the 26th Guards Tank Brigade that she was a part of such as insignias or markings that a tank from that brigade would have and also if there are any Russian translators around that could help show me what "Fighting Girlfriend"(I've also seen it written "Combat She Friend" which I assume is a very literal translation) would look like in the Russian language. She had that nickname painted on her turret.

I have used an online service to come up with a couple of possible translations ---

Борющаяся подруга ---

this translates back to "the struggling girlfriend"

or ---

сражение с подругой ---

which translates back to "Battle with the girlfriend"

or ---

подруга борется ---

which translates back to "the girlfriend struggles"



As a thought have you thought about asking the Russian embassy for reference material for the crew in question? They may look at it as good P.R.

I had done the same and I also came across that. What that website is a game of some sort where people create a country and then play out turns to try and make their country great. I was invited to join one that my university runs a few years ago. Thank you for the help, but that is just some made up country that someone named after her haha
