I wanted a change, so Busts it was.

Hi Guys,
I haven't been on here for sometime so I thought I had let you see what I had been doing.

I wanted a change after my two 1/35th figure dio's and seeing the 1/10th bust of Hindenburg advertised I just had to have it. So I purchased it, washed it, primed it and started painting it using my usual Artist's oils for the skin and Vallejo acrylics for the rest of it apart from a few deviations, ie, the helmet was too smooth so I parted it with neat black Artist's oils and stippled it a bit to give the leather look.

So here is the finished bust.













I shall be posting more busts soon as I have got the bug and as you guys that are on Facebook know I have done a few since last October, 11 in all.

Here is the next one I painted, this time a 1/16th bust of a Napoleonic Polish Lancer

I bought this 1/10th Bust of Saladin, from the film, Kingdom of Heaven at the same time I bought the Polish Lancer.







That will do for now, hope you like them.

The pictures that I can see look absolutely stunning mate.

Are you using photo bucket? That site sometimes spits it's dummy out.

Regardless of that, these are beautiful.

Freakishly great work. You play and work with the skin complexion looks magnificent! The blue eyes of Saladin pierces throw and give him life. Wow wow wow!

Thank you Gustav, I like the Artist's oils for the skin as it gives you time to blend each colour together, I must admit I like the cold hard look on Saladin's face.
