Afternoon All

I'm trying to get into building dioramas and I'm looking for a good on-line retailer of all things flora. I'm not really into buildings or streets but I would love to start making rural based vignettes for my tank and AVF kits. What I'm really after is static grass, grass mats, small bushes and trees etc.

Does anyone know a good retailer here in good old Blighty?

Thanks as ever.

Hattons sell model railway stuff. http://www.ehattons.com/
I don't know how expensive they are.
you could also try http://www.gaugemaster.com/index.html. They might be cheaper.
Hope this helps

Ebay is a good source.....I buy all my ingredients from there. I don't know if you're wanting to make your own trees but I use twigs from the garden and the ubiquitous sea foam glued on for branches and rubberised horsehair for bushes and brambles with Woodland Scenics grass flock for the leaves stuck on with hairspray. If you haven't seen this already elsewhere on the forum, then this was made using all the above with 6mm and 10mm static grass and bristles from a paint brush for the longer grass and the ivy and flowers were from Army Painter, all as I mentioned from Ebay......and your imagination is free!!!

I find that making it all yourself is much more satisfying and a bit of fun too....Hope that helps......a bit......though it didn't answer your question directly :th:
Cheers :cheers2:
