Tamiya Panther G Early Version - First Build

Hi Folks,

I posted some pics of my first diorama a while ago and thought I'd post some pics of my first build after a 30 year lay off. This was done at the beginning of the year after watching a shed full of Youtube vids to help me with painting and weathering. Its pretty basic stuff but I was chuffed when I finished it and sat back and said 'I made that'











I've a Dio in mind for it but I might rebuild using a better kit when I get around to it.

Be gentle after all it was my first time and I didn't really know what I was doing not sure I do yet!!!.....anyway I hope you enjoy

Thanks Guys, as I said it was my first proper build and I liked the way it turned out. When I rebuild it, it will be a good marker to see how much I've improved (or not) in the last 6 months.

there might be a little bit too much bare metal visible on the tracks. but apart from that I really really like the weathering and variation you accomplished with the dry/wet mud. looks extremely realistic and brings a lot of life to the model.

Thanks for the comment Leander ...........there's a few more builds since this one dotted around on the forum and hopefully my skills are improving as I want to build this one again at some point.
